I'm so disappointed that I wont be selling at any Christmas craft fairs this year. It's such a fantastic way to meet people, chat about my favourite subject, glass, and buy some Christmas presents from the other brilliant stallholders. As well as eating far too many mince pies!!
This year everyone, including myself, is having to sell via virtual craft fairs. These are obviously not the same as the fun, atmospheric, Christmassy craft fairs but I hope you'll join me in a couple.
Wirral Virtual Bazaar, 1st - 14th November
The first virtual fair I'll be showcasing my glass in is the Wirral Bazaar. This was the fair I was most looking forward to being involved with. It's not only a wonderful occasion in the grounds of Thornton Manor but it's a charity event to raise funds for North West Cancer Research. Instead of the usual fair they'll be running a virtual bazaar from the 1st - 14th November. Every purchase through the stallholders will give 10% towards life saving cancer research. All proceeds go directly to the charity. Browse, shop, donate. Its the perfect start to your Christmas from the comfort of your own sofa!
Purchases are made through www.brilliantlittlebrands.com. If you're looking for gift ideas the stalls really are wonderful.
EDIT : due to not being able to onboard my website with' brilliant little brands' I won't be featuring on their website over the course of the fair. As i didn't want to miss contributing to this brilliant charity 10% of all my profit from 1st-14th November will still be donated to North West Cancer Research. Just purchase directly from my website as usual.
The Big Welsh Virtual Christmas Market
This is a market run on Facebook. Just ask to join the group and there are some fantastic Welsh artisans and businesses taking part. I will probably spend an absolute fortune mostly buying Welsh language clothing for my kids!!
